Recently in wordpress when I have attempted to insert a link into a post the link box comes up empty and I am unable to shut down the link box. I have upgraded to the lastest version of MU. Everything else in editor is working fine except for inserting links.
In reading up on this it seems like a common issue and people have either hacked away at it or deleted the compressor. What is supposed to be the correct fix for this?
I would appreciate a nudge in the right direction.

Browser info, what specific version of mu you're running, any thing in the error logs, etc would be helpful.
Browser-Firefox (current version)

I am leaning towards this being a browser issue. But I am running into issues with this on multiple systems.
It's been my experience if there's any kind of javascript glitch anywhere in the system, it'll knock TinyMCE out. Even unrelated plugins will mess it up.
You could try getting new tinyMCE files from trac & replace the ones you've got.
