So when updating to 1.3 I there were some new importers for tags, however I have not had any tag-plugins installed earlier, and having these plugins might just confuse users.
Is it safe to just remove the relevant importers from wp-admin/import/ ?

It should be safe as they don't do anything unless someone trying to run the import script.
