I understand its unstable and alpha but the latest builds almost always contain new broken code. I've had some bad experiences with the nightly builds and instead of going into my gripes I'd rather just get a stable build and use it.

So what is your favorite build and how stable is it?

This is silly. If you use an old build you will have more bugs than anything and there might even be insecure code.
