URL path to 'wp-signup.php' after submit (3 posts)

    Hello,

I am trying to figure out why when I submit a new registration via my signup page (http://mywpmu.com/wp-signup.php/), the return page tacks on an extra 'wp-signup.php' to the end of the URL, like:

    http://mywpmu.com/wp-signup.php/wp-signup.php/

This doesn't actually prevent users from signing up, but it doesn't look right. Also, when I add wp-captcha to my sign up page, registrations then don't complete - users are simply returned to the first signup screen when they submit their registrations from the *second* page (where you enter blog title and check or uncheck the search engine option). They are sent again back to:

    http://mywpmu.com/wp-signup.php/wp-signup.php/

All my form actions in wp-signup.php are set to 'wp-signup.php,' and everything is in the root of my WPMu installation, so I'm stuck.

My apologies for the total newbie explanation here, and perhaps the wp-captcha is an entirely other topic. I appreciate any help in any case.

    Thanks,
    Moose

    Sorry for my newbish-ness here.

So.. does it do that on an absolutely clean install with no plugins or hacks?

    Andrea_r,

I deactivated and reactivate my plugins and that seemed to fix the extra file name at the end of the URL. Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I also had to remove the captcha code from signup.php to get my registrations to work again. I've tried every captcha plugin there is for the WPMu signup page and none of them seem to work, but I think that's a separate issue.

    Anyway, thanks again.
