User uploaded Themes « WordPress MU Forums

I was wondering if there was any way to have the users upload their own themes from inside Mu. We are writing a blog site for a number of students, and would like them to be creative in their choices of themes. Is the only way to implement this by using a seperate page and php uploading (just as an example of a way to do it), or can Mu be extended or modified to do this internally.
