Installation Woes, 500 Internal Server Error (2 posts)

    Help !

    I installed WPMU online this morning and went through the installation script to setup the SQL database however after some issues in finding the database I recieved an error message.

    After trying for a period longer without sucess and continually getting a new error. found @ http://www.damnitspace.com/

    I am using Cpanel have deleted the domain and recreated (addon domain) and re-installed have also looked at many of the issue on the forums without sucess of re-installation.

    I have followed the many issues surrounding the .htaccess file without sucess. sounds like configuration in the server is pooted, however its not I can reset the server and start again with new config scripts etc.

    HELP PLEASE !!

    pls, ignore this post. figured out the issue was that the .htaccess files was overriding permissions which were wrong, unsure why but corrected this by removing the comments in the .htaccess file and correctly setting permissions.
