WordPress MU

Hiya. Over on my wpum tutorial blog (wpmututorials.com), I'm starting a weekly feature of really well-done MU-based sites. While I have a few sites in mind, I'm open to suggestions.

I running a Norwegian MU site called NatseCorma ( means "Web Ring" in Quenya) for Norwegian fantasy/ sci fi geeks. I'm not sure if it's something like that you have in mind. Anyway, I'm happy with it, especially the login screen.

The site is a combination between a linkpage and a blog. The default start4all theme is completely customizable, you can change things like fonts, backgrounds, colors, page width for all page elements. Some examples:

The linkpage is a special Wordpress based plug-in, fully based on AJAX technology. It uses the new WordPress Taxonomy system to attach links and sections to a WordPress page.

Looks like they've upgraded since the last time I looked them over. I remember not seeing an export option last time I was there.

The layout of the backend is seriously broken under IE6. Looks nice though compared to the stock backend.

Really like your site, it's well implemented and unique for a WPMU site. First thing i noticed though was the misspelling of "thougts" in your flash intro. Good job, i like seeing everyone's sites. I'll post mine when it's ready, i don't want people screwing around on it.

Would this plugin be available to say a person like myself to use on my site? I love the ratings too. Could i do that? I understand if you dont want to share your secrets or if it is custom code.

Both http://free-jazz.net and http://outlawpoetry.com are running on the same WPMU install and can be described as two niche networking blog platforms. Not fully up to speed yet, lot's more to do but if you are into Free Jazz / Poetry you might have a good time on the various blogs already.

Ah... I did mention NICHE, didn't I ? ;)
