Anyone interested in a customized signup process allowing the password to be set during signup and no email confirmation?
This message has 3 purposes.
1. Anyone experienced with wpmu want to bid on it? email hr at axiongroupinc dot com.
2. Anyone interested in helping to pay for some of the programming in return for duel ownership of the code?
3. Is there interest in the community for such a plugin/hack?

Matt, what's the purpose of such plugin?
To allow spammers make ya blogs spammed easier and quicker than they usually do? :)
It wouldn't be a difficult thing to code - but yah, what's the purpose? What are the checks and balances? If you allow that, there's no way for the user to verify that they're using a valid email address....

Thanks Deanna, that reminds me to add to the reasoning to enter the correct email adress during signups, not only their password is sent there, all new comment notifications also are.
