I just set up mu at ASO (asmallorange.com)... They enabled wildcard and all the patches necessary to run wpmu with subdomains.
I installed it with no difficulties...
I created a handful of blogs using different usernames to see how the system works. All that went fine. I could create blogs, use the dashboard, write, create pages, everything...
Then using FireFox for Mac, I went to the domain, not a subdomain, so wp displayed a page using the standard message about editing home.php. On that page is a list of recently updated blogs. I clicked on one of the blogs I created and logged in as the site admin, instead of the user who created the blog.
The next page was completely blank. I didn't take me to any dashboard at all. Not mine, not the subdomain dashboard. Nothing. Just a blank page.
Now if I go to the main web address the main page comes up, and I can go to the public side of the main blog and it shows logged in as admin by the comment box. But if I go to /wp-admin/ I get a blank screen. If I go to any other blog, I also get a blank screen.
When I close the browser and go back to log in, it gives me a blank page. If I try to visit any of the "user created" blogs I get a blank page.
If I try to log in as any user, admin or otherwise, I get a blank page.
I then tried Safari for Mac and get the following error in all the same examples:
Safari can’t open the page “http://seekgoddaily.com/wp-admin/login.php” because it could not load any data from this location."
Any ideas about what happened and how to fix it, for now -- and so it doesn't happen again?
I searched the forums and didn't see anything similar, if I missed it I apologize...
Thanks in advance for any help...
If it helps to try it, the domain is http://www.seekgoddaily.com

Edit: I clicked on "create a new blog" and got to the page where it says, "Hi admin, to change or disable registration go to options page..." Which when I did I was taken to the dashboard and able to log out...
Once I logged out (which I wasn't able to do because the public side of the blogs didn't have me as logged in) I am able to log in normally as the admin or other dummy users I created...
I can also log in as admin on any of the created blogs and get to the dashboards of those blogs...
I'm still curious why this happened though...
