I have a problem to import posts from a diffrent blogg.

i got an xml file. It imports partly
I found that it dont import swedish caracters like Å Ä Ö
så i changed al them to html: å = å

but it stils stops att that caracter

any clues what to do?

When you open the xml file in a text editor, (ie notepad. Not word or Wordpad) what do you see? How do those characters look?

What charset is the current site set to as well as the previous site?
