WordPress MU

Hi,

Has anyone been successful in getting the Drain Hole (see http://urbangiraffe.com/plugins/drain-hole/) download manager to work with the MU version of wordpress?

The plugin installs easily. Linking downloads to posts works a treat, but I have been unsuccessful in enforcing Access Level rights (which role can download) and getting the hits to register for a download. The download hits issue seems to be a scripting problem with the .htaccess setting.
