Can someone definitively tell me where plugins should be located in wpmu 1.5? I don't see a wp_plugins folder anymore and so I've simply created a plugins folder within wp-admin.

    Anyone?

    Thx

Your plugins folder should be called plugins and be in wp-content. You should also have an mu-plugins folder in the same directory.

OK, but the new install of 1.5 does not create these automatically, so just create them, right? BTW...I meant to say wp-content above so I have that one right. ;)

    Thx

Last question on this, and I've searched, but what exactly differentiates the two. At face value, it looks like plugins in mu_plugins would effect blogs site wide (all blogs) but I fear that's just too easy. ;)

    Thanks again...

Plugins in the mu-plugins folder are automatically activated for all blogs on the site.

Plugins in the mu-plugins folder are automatically executed for all blogs on the site, and they are run all the time.

Be careful not to stuff too much in there.
