I raised this issue in this thread but it may have been buried. Wondering where the old 'upgrade_schema' file is in wpmu 1.5. I'm hoping to adjust capabilities for member roles in that file.

    Cheers

Simply add, or remove, capabilities for the various roles seen in that file. For author, I removed everything but read and write capabilities.

Role Manager didn't work for you?

Btw, what (and how) exactly did you change? Did you change 'levels'?

I was having trouble with the plugin deactiviating after logging out as admin. I suspect I'm accomplishing the same thing as Role Manager by editing two files (and logging my changes). In schema.php you can add or remove capabilities to any roles within WPMU (or mix and match to suit your needs). It's working for me...

    THx
