WordPress MU

hello i have installed wordpress-mu but i have only uploaded the file and on index.php come...

how can i resolve?

Did you read the readme file that came with your MU download?

Hello i have installed wordpress MU andset up the database with matching data in the wp-config.php but ti still get an error:
Error establishing a database connection

Hello, I´m trying to install wordpress mu, and I not very sure if I'm doing the things right.
The webpage shows me this:

One or more of the directories must be made writeable by the webserver. You will be reminded to reset the permissions at the end of the install.
Please chmod 777 directory-name or chown that directory to the user the web server runs as (usually nobody, apache, or www-data)
Refresh this page when you're done!

Quick fix:
chmod 777 /hsphere/local/home/energies/energyenhancement.org/wordpress-mu-1.5.1

If you put data in the wp-config file, you did not install MU.

Read the readme file that came with the download.

That's correct. While installing, the site root must be writable by the web server.

As a note, you probably want to move the files out of energyenhancement.org/wordpress-mu-1.5.1 into energyenhancement.org/.

Which is the differece to move files out of energyenhancement.org/wordpress-mu-1.5.1 into energyenhancement.org/.??

Because wordpress-mu-1.5.1 will show up in your urls if you leave it in there.
