cafespainI did say I would post details on this on Monday, but unfortunately I was delayed by an annoying Internet Explorer bug. I think (hope) everything works correctly now. You lucky people are the first to hear about this, as I haven't even blogged about it yet.
Hoard Hunter (v1.0) is a WordPress / WordPress MU theme and plugin that powers an online game of chance.
It is designed to allow people raising money for charity to have an easily set-up (and hosted if required) online treasure hunt game.
I am running the initial game to raise funds for Oxfam and the Gurkha welfare trust and it was originally developed to go alongside the other fund raising I am doing (see: http://hoardhunter.com/about/ ).
It is, however, a generic system and so I have set it to integrate with WordPress MU and allow multiple games to be played at the same time using MU's subdomains.
I am currently only allowing manual sign ups as I want to ensure that it is only being used for charitable purposes (and no con-men start fleecing people).
