Wanted: The ability to choose permalink structure (5 posts)

    In WP you can choose whatever permalink structure you want like /%category%/%post%/ but you can't do that in WPMU as far as I can see.

    This would be a really great feature for those us who are interested on good SE rankings for our blogs.

    Think this will come eventually?

    Wanted to chime in on this. We're looking at using pages instead of posts because we don't have to worry about keeping track of the date. But posts seems much more tightly integrated into WordPress.

    We'd very much like the ability to set the permalink structure like normal WordPress allows.

    Edit wp-admin/options-permalink.php and remove the die() at the top of the file, then load that file in your browser while logged in.

    Hi!

    Is there anything else I need to setup? I upgraded to r712 yesterday but I still can't get this feature working. I can change the permalink structure but it looks like WordPress cannot translate them into posts. I got 404 for every URL until I change it back.
