Take it out and look and see what errors are showing in your apache log files.
Guess Lycos does not have that because I cannot find it.
I checked to whole directory only a ws ftp log i found.
You can;t drop just any plugin in the mu-plugins folder. :) Please make sure it was meant to go in there.
If it was, contact the plugin author about errors.
Does the 500 error show up when you add the plugin and go away when you remove it?
My 500 errors usually don't identify the script that caused them.
OK here is what I did and what happens
1. download as zip
2. unzip
3. go to wp-content directory
4. go to mu plugins directory
5. with my ftp programm I add the directory adsense deluxe in mu plugins
5. with my ftp programm I the file adsense deluxe.php in mu plugins.
upload ready I think
6 then I go to settings in my admin
7 there I see the name of the plugin
8 when I click on it I get this internal server error
http://blogger.kellystart.com/data/members/paid/k/e/kellystart.com/htdocs/blogger/wp-content/mu-plugins/adsense_deluxe.php
Hmmm, that first URL doesn't look right at all.
And what happens if you put the plugin in the regular plugins folder?
Will this plugin showing up also on the same page when I add it in the normal plugins???? If yes then the plugin is not vissible.
about steps 5 and 5a: is this plugin meant to go in mu plugins? do you need to edit all the 'plugin' references in 'adsense deluxe.php' and make them muplugins/adsense-directory? that would be a start.
check this and report back.
The instalations file says
Installation: Download the tgz file, extract it and upload the adsense_deluxe folder to your plugins or mu-plugin directory.
So yes it must there.
So far I see I only had to replace my google add code with the code insite of the file.
Solved it had to do with my remoted host server.
