It seems from my research that you can't put a Flash movie clip inside a WPMU header due to the security restrictions applied by WPMU.
The site I am working on will have only one admin and users will not be able to create blogs via signup, only the admin can set up new blogs.
Since the potential security issues are minimised through this approach,is it possible to edit a core file to allow a flash clip in the header?
Why not hardcode it in the template?
ar eyou trying to use the custom header option to put the flash in?

Thanks for the reply Andrea.
Will try embedding it in the template heade as suggested, I understood WPMU stripped out embed code like a flash clip from the header as well as posts and pages by default.
Not so huh?

nope, not hard coded stuff.
That's right - the reason is, if you have enough permissions to hard-code potentially security issues, then you won't be bringing your site down on purpose. ;)
The stripping code on posts, pages, and in widgets is more to stop the users from adding in things.
