WordPress MU

Hello,

I have setup a number of blogs using my own email address (private MU system), however, I am unable to change the amdin email address within each blog. It indicates that changes have been saved, however, no verification email ever arrives.

I do get all other email notifications (ie. comment moderation, new accounts/blogs setup, etc. etc.), however, not the admin email change one.

Might there be a workaround for this (ie. DB hack)?

Yes, you can always edit the email field in the db...

I found that for my main blog, the only way to change the email address was to go into Site Admin > Blogs > Edit and change the email address there.

.. which edits it in the database directly...

I have found exactly the same issue. Editing through Site Admin indeed does the trick as a workaround but neither me (admin) nor blog owners can change their admin address the normal way. No confirmation e-mail is sent and I cannot find any related messages in the server error log.

What is wrong ? Is this some server setting causing problems ?

Is anyone still having this problem? I am on WPMU 2.7.x I've checked my mail server and everything is working, except changing a blog admin email via the General Settings page. It's driving me nuts!

I am, just on the admin blog tho.

Please help I am running wordpress on a shared server. That has cpanel on the backend.

So I don't get it when you say go to
"Site Admin > Blogs > Edit"

Do you mean the cpanel admin or the wordpress admin at "...com/wp-admin"

If either one of these I am not seeing links like that, if I were to go to the PHPMyAdmin what table would I look for?

By the way I did the obvious change in wp-admin under settings / general settings.

If you look at the WPMU backend, there's a menu there called "Site Admin".

That's the one.
