WordPress MU

Hi,

Could anyone help me with this? What is the difference between WPMU themes and wordpress themes. If I want users to make some changes to the themese select (like just upload a header gif), how can I achieve that.

Also is there a WPMU version of the comicpress theme?

There isn't a difference. they take the *same themes*.

Something like adding a custom header is an option. You can even add it to any theme and it will work for WP/WPMU.

People talk about making themes "work" in MU because there are a few things to look out for:
- hardcoded areas
- maybe you want a widgetized sidebar
- any plugin that may be needed for soem theme features
- if it has an options page, it may bork in MU but it's been a while since I've seen one do that

So take the comicpress theme, plunk it in MU and see what happens.

The part of comicpress theme is that it publishes comics in a particular category. I have learnt how to create a new default category (comic) everytime someone gets a new blog.

But I cannot get my head to understand how to add a custom header. Could you guide or give a reference where i can find this info ?

You upload them to the themes directory. Go to Site Admin and activate them. Then they should be available under Design.
