WordPress MU

Hi everyone

What is the best multi-user blog hosting script out there?

I know this might sound a strange question to be posted on a WP forum. But I'm new to WP MU, so I will ask anyway, hoping to get help and objective enlightenment, since - I guess - many of the participants here have had experiences with other blogging sripts.

I am using Bloghoster and I'm having a terrible experience; not because the script is bad, but because:
- it is very difficult to tweak it to work with rtl languages like Arabic?
- Also because they have zero support.

So What do you think the best multi-user blog hosting script is.. in terms of?

- Security
- Seo
- Support for other languages, especially RTL languages: Arabic/Hebrew/Farsi ...
- adsense codes palcement
- General

Is it bloghoster.net or mu.wordpress.org or netartmedia.net/blogsystem, or is it something other than those?!

Any opinion or bit of information would help...

I don't know... maybe there are 1 or 2 enemies of WP MU here :)

Actually I posted this same question on other famous web development forums. But it seems that the guys there have zero experience with Multi user blogging software.

I am convinced that WP MU is the best for English language. But I don't see good support for RTL languages.

Also, I care much about security, seo... and the other points I mentioned :)

Regarding security. Well, nothing is 100% secure :) WPMU is pretty secure - of course if you don't install tons of buddy plugins.
If used wisely and properly - WPMU is OK.

Yes, Hebrew is RTL.

I found the Arabic pack through the second link, but unfortunately it is for the previous version of WPMU. But it will certainly help ... I am grateful to you.

That Arabic translation is also for the host control panel. I only need a translation for portals, themes and bloggers' administration.

I am no expert, so I will post another thread about some details.

WPMU language pack is to translate WPMU 'functionality'. If you need design themes in different language - this is a totally different question :)

I'm thinking of purchasing a premium account http://premium.wpmudev.org/ . Do you think they would help me with installation and with RTL tweaking of themes for blogs and portals?

I think they will help you by giving you some guidelines on premium forums. Maybe some similar guidelines are already there :)

Also, from what I remember, many WP themes have rtl.css file, so there shouldn't be too much troubles localizing them.

That premium forum is only for help on the plugins *they sell*.
